Running..sewing!

I'm happy to see you again!

I can hardly understand that there is so long since I wrote.
I have been focused on my training for the race in Göteborg.
I had to be in shape for a half maraton.
Running...running..sweat and hard work!

......and I managed to make a better result than last year...I'm quite happy with that :)

BUT..... now I'm eager to sew...long for it!

So today is a perfect day!

Actually I went home to dig in the garden after work today.
But .. there was rain, clouds and thunder...or was it ash from the volcanic eruption in Iceland?

Sooo..it wasn't hard to rethink and
continue my project in the studio :)

The top made of Kaffe Fasset fabrics is finished and now there is some decisions to make.

I tried out some different fabrics and colors for the border.

Purple or orange?

Maybe a green one with a more challenging design?

What do you think?

Love Margreth

  1. Your quilt is going to be beautiful!
What about a narrow inner border of the solid purple and then a wider outer border with the orange print?

  2. Oh my gosh! I love this fabric... I have a couple of books by Kaffe Fasset but no fabric (sniff, sniff). Anywhooo, I think that the orange makes it really pop!
